Cleanup + Preparation

Our crew carefully prepares your property for winter by blowing and collecting leaves, cutting back perennials and ornamental grasses, removing annuals where needed, and tidying garden beds. We take the time to ensure your lawn and landscape are clean, healthy, and ready for the colder months.

3

Load + Haul

We gather leaves and debris into piles and load them directly into our trailer for quick, efficient removal. Once collected, the debris is hauled away and disposed of responsibly, leaving your property clear and tidy without the hassle.

The Benefits of Fall Clean-up

Protects Your Lawn + Gardens

Leaves, dead plant material, and overgrown perennials can trap moisture, encourage disease, and damage your lawn and garden beds over winter. A professional fall cleanup keeps your landscape healthy and ready for spring.

Keeps Your Property Looking Its Best

A complete fall cleanup instantly improves your home's appearance by removing leaves, cutting back perennials, tidying garden beds, and leaving your landscape neat and well maintained before winter arrives.

Makes Spring Easier + Healthier

Cleaning up your property in the fall reduces spring workload, helps prevent mold and pest issues, protects valuable plants, and gives your lawn and gardens a healthier start when the growing season returns.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I schedule leaf clean-up services?

During the Fall season, we recommend you schedule leaf cleanup and removal services 2-3 times. This helps to promote lawn health, reduce compaction, and prevent critters throughout the season. This generally falls in the first week of October, November, and December.

Do I need to prepare my yard before the leaf clean-up service?

We ask that you please remove any loose debris, furniture, or other items from your yard that could disrupt our leaf removal process. Further, we request that you reserve a spot nearby your property for us to station our leaf trailer.

How long does a leaf clean-up job usually take?

The time it takes for our leaf removal service can vary depending on the size of your property and desired service. For one-time and scheduled leaf removal, it generally takes 1-2 hours for smaller properties and upwards of 3 hours for large properties. For curbside leaf pickup, it generally takes about 15-30 minutes regardless of property size.

Why is it important to remove leaves from my lawn?

Leaf removal is vital for maintaining the health and appearance of your lawn throughout the Fall season, especially here in Southern Ontario Removing leaf buildup helps to prevent soil damage and compaction, promote healthy grass growth, reduce pest infestations, and improve the overall curb appeal of your property.

How are our leaves disposed?

At Oak and Willow Property Maintenance, we strive to compost almost all of the leaf debris we collect from our client’s properties. This ensures that the waste from your leaf removal service can enhance the environment by providing nutrient-rich soil for other residents of York Region and Simcoe Region
